Description
Four SC-CUT Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator
It is adopted by many high-end well-known audio equipments, and femtosecond clock CCHD-957, which is recognized by many audiophiles for its great sound performance, chooses AT-CUT crystal rather than SC-CUT, the former is not oven controlled. DP-505 uses oven controlled crystal oscillator, all of which are SC-CUT crystals. Except for its low cost, short delivery period and being applicable to mass-produce, AT-CUT can not compete with SC-CUT crystal in other respects.
Built-in USB Signal Regeneration Circuit
Improve the data transfer between DP-505 and computer and ensure pure USB signal for the audio interface.
Support Dual-wire AES Mode
Each AES cable transmits one channel, reducing interference between channels and improving sound effects. It can also be used as two regular AES outputs.
Definition of IIS Output Format
Support IIS format of most models such as PS AUDIO, HELEN, HYDRY Z through setting.
Word Clock Output
Separate 75-ohm standard TTL word clock output for synchronization of backend decoder.
Precision Impedance Control
The important clock signals traces are controlled by precision impedance, which provides high-speed signals a better transmission channel and greatly improves the quality of digital signals.
Outstanding Sound Effects
It ensures and transmits high-quality digital signal output to DACs, with great improvement in musicality, sound stage, full-frequency details, not least the low-frequency sound texture and scale. Even a recording that has been played for myriad times may show new surprise.
IIS output can support 32Bit/384k/DSD256 (maximum) and others are able to support 24Bit/192k (maximum, no DSD).
In March 2019, RPO version is available; it is built on optimized circuit and OCXO and provides better sound quality.
